Purchase a domain!

Here's a huge part in creating a gpt! You need a catchy and sexy domain to suck in users! Get a good quality name and make it a .com or .net domain only!

Purchase Hosting!
​
You will be needing a reliable host for your gpt! I recommend GoDaddy, Namecheap, and THCServers although you can use any hosting provider you wish to.

Choosing A Script
​
Here's one of the biggest parts in opening a GPT. Choosing the script! Below I have listed decent GPT scripts for every price range!

??? - Custom.... Have a ton of money lying around? Want the best of the best? Hire a professional developer to make you a script and tell him/her everything you want it to do!

$20-200 - DevzStudio by @rero - Here is a high quality script made by a fellow TBN member! It works very good and is priced nicely! All in all it is a good deal and they have many pricing plans.

Free! - Offerscript by @Codez Hybrid - If you need a free script use this one! It is not the greatest do to it being full of bugs but I am helping the developer and we have almost got all of the bugs fixed! It is very close to shiftcode but at the awesome price of free! To get the updates for this you will need to complete a PPD offer. (Newest Update Now Free) Support is $25 a month. Please note this script is extremely buggy and in beta. In order for this to be fully usable buy the support package, download the updates, or edit the files to your liking to fix the issues.

Also, Please stay away from shiftcode! It is nothing but problems with tons of bugs, crappy support, and an outdated platform.

After doing all of this install the script to your server and move on to the next step!

When running a GPT you can use the base theme but these are over used! I would recommend if you can buying a custom design from Seraph's Designs

Promoting Your New Site

You need to get out there! To do this post your site on forums, put your banner in your signature, make social media pages, hand out flyers and business cards, buy ad space on websites and ptc sites, use hitleap or jingling, etc! You can probably find more ways with the power of google!
